Theme: Language & Creativity

  • Registration closes on 1stJuly, 2024.
  • First come first serve basis
  • Entry fee : FREE
  • Eligibility : Student of class- 9th -12 th from any part of the globe.
  • Step 1, 2 and 3 of the competition is to be carried out online at your convenience.
  • Participants must be present online on google meet for Step 4 on 17th July 2024.
  • Win 3 exciting prizes by grabbing the first three coveted positions.
  • 1 special entry prize.(if any found eligible)
  • All participant receives participation certificate upon completion of the full round of competition.
  • Result declaration will be done on the website on July 20th 2024.
  • Prize distribution ceremony. (will be declared soon)
  • The final result and position for prizes will be declared after clubbing the marks obtained in Infographic + Video + Extempore.
  • Therefore, participating in all three steps of the competition is mandatory to win the coveted three positions and special entry prize.

Competition Task:

1. Chose an issue you encounter in your city or around from the list given below.

a. Urbanization
b. Waste Management
c. Climate change
d. Traffic congestion
e. Over consumption
f. Eroding natural water bodies
g. Lack of green cover

Step - 1: (Research study). Research on the selected issue and collect information about the
  • ISSUE
  • IMPLICATIONS
  • PROBABLE SOLUTIONS

Tip: Keep your research focused on the above three areas.

Step - 2: INFOGRAPHIC /POSTER / COMIC OR GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION MAKING July 6th, 2024

(Critical thinking and Problem Solving & application using technology (AI))

  • Design an infographic/Poster/Comic or Graphic illustration in one page format structured in unique style digitally (can use any digital app, however, acknowledging the source is mandatory).
  • The design should first display the ISSUE, followed by IMPLICATIONS and finally the SOLUTIONS identified in the research step 1.
  • Creative designing with thoughtful solutions are a plus.
  • Submit the INFOGRAPHIC/POSTER/ COMIC OR GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION by 11:59 PM of July 6th, 2024.
  • Submit through registered email only.

Step - 3: ONE-MINUTE VIDEO MAKING LITERARY CHARACTER RAMP WALK July 13th, 2024

(Creativity, Literature and Social Awareness)

  • Chose a character from any of your read literature classic or modern
  • Display the problem, implication and solution designed in the step 2 activity, symbolically through the choice of costume, props and the makeup to be used for the ramp walk of the character chosen.
  • Walk the ramp in your chosen setting (any place of your choice that has aesthetic background) and create a one-minute video of the walk.
  • Submit the LITERARY CHARACTER RAMP WALK ONE VIDEO by 11:59 PM of July 13th, 2024.
  • Submit through registered email only.

Step - 4: EXTEMPORE (SPEAKING) July 17th, 2024
  • The participant must speak Individually explaining why you made a choice of particular settings, costume, props and how it is relevant to your topic chosen in step 2.
  • While you speak the one-minute video of your ramp should play in the background.
  • Followed by which a 2 mins Q & A session on the same topic will be conducted by the field experts (judges).

Note:The Criteria for Extempore:

  • Structure
  • Vocabulary
  • Development and Fluency
  • Content relevance and accuracy

Q&A session is to understand the originality and involvement of the participant in the whole task.
